We use Buffer for effective social media management

4.5

By Carmen M., 5 month(s) ago, on G2

We were able to increase our brand's visibility and presence by optimizing Buffer's ability to analyze the performance of our posts. This has allowed us to change our approach and achieve higher engagement results. It is a platform that makes it easy to manage multiple social media accounts and launch campaigns across multiple platforms.

Great for building a social media presence

You can connect most of your social media platforms and create a schedule. It allows you to cusomize the posts so while they may be similar, you're putting something different on each platform.

My Experience with Buffer (Social Media Manager)

4

By Vimukthi Darshana, 3 month(s) ago, on TrustPilot

Good for now with experience. I'm using buffer for my Freelance projects. Managing 1 brand with buffer with "Essential" Plan that costs 24$ per month for 4 Platforms. Easy to schedule and manage. Calendar option is a flex.

neutral Reviews

Neutral reviews acknowledge Buffer's usefulness but point out some limitations or areas for improvement. Users mention issues with the interface speed, analytics for certain platforms, and the learning curve for advanced features. Some users also express concern about recent changes to pricing or free plan limitations.

Buffer, a Social Media productivity changer.

3.5

By Jose A., 1 year(s) ago, on G2

Buffer improves the process to work with the publication calendar. A really easy way to schedule posts in your different social media channels. Excelent analytic feedback and what I like most is the hability to republish content that you have already published but remember that you are unable to create threaded tweets unless you upgrade to a paid plan.

Buffer is a platform that help us to manage multi social accounts

4.5

By Abhishek G., 1 year(s) ago, on G2

The software is a good-to-go software and quite easy to understand but initially while using and implementing all the tools and functions of the software. It confused our team regarding how to go further with the advanced scheduling and post-queuing but gradually we learned the process and worked on it flawlessly.

negative Reviews

Negative reviews highlight issues with reliability, connection problems with social media platforms, and dissatisfaction with recent changes to pricing or features. Some users report technical glitches, missed posts, and concerns about account security. There are also complaints about limitations in video posting and thumbnail customization.

Hacked within a week of connecting to buffer

1

By Joshua Okposo, 1 month(s) ago, on TrustPilot

Within a week of connecting my accounts to buffer, mail & LinkedIn was hacked, Facebook was attempted and I quickly had to secure Twitter and TikTok... I disconnected from the service immediately. I have a feeling a staff is using privileged information to enter people's accounts.

they lost connection with social media platform all teh time and miss posting .. unreliable.

Disappointed in Buffer

2

By Firework, 11 month(s) ago, on TrustPilot

Disappointed in Buffer, I setup scheduled posts, some where posted, but if I chose to delete a post or move it to a different day, it was posted on both days. App doesn't sync with the website unless you keep closing it down or refreshing the page. The also appear to have a lot of problems posting short 20-30 second videos to Instagram. Receive email saying post has gone, but it hasn't. So I do not recommend Buffer as a reliable source to social media scheduling management.

Hootsuite and Amplify have transformed our social media presence here at Keyloop!

5

By Miles M., 2 month(s) ago, on G2

Hootsuite has enabled us to effectively plan, organize, and share our content. As a Digital Marketing Manager, I have been able to showcase our value on social media. Furthermore, the Amplify platform has empowered our sales team to confidently share content on their social channels, leading to an increase in website visitors and lead inquiries. The implementation of the platform was straightforward, and the customer support has been exceptional.

A breeze to manage posting each day.

4

By Sammyuktha J., 2 month(s) ago, on G2

Posting each day is not stressfuul anymore, as I have the caption copied automatically and content downloaded at theat immediate moment to my gallery to upload at that moment. Its a smooth process that I can do without worry. The SEO-capabilities incorporated in the tool is super impressive!

Good platform but be careful with the free trial

By BNBC, 1 month(s) ago, on TrustPilot

Edit: A few days after they did refund me both of those payments. And the actual platform is quite okay to be fair

Lots of options - a little much for small businesses that do not do it all

4

By Sabrina Q., 2 month(s) ago, on G2

I like several features. The primary social media posting options are easy to use. OwlyWriter AI helps when I have a writer's blog and want to create content for my business. The duplicate post button is very helpful when I want to share the same content a few times throughout the following month. The media library allows me to share other images with my content to easily freshen up my evergreen content. It is not affordable. While I have clients to support the expense, other small business owners (specifically solopreneurs or micro-small businesses) may not have the funds for this app.

User friendly, great interface

3.5

By Kimberly K., 3 month(s) ago, on G2

Hootsuite is great from the perspective of being able to make changes and updates independently, without requiring an account manager to complete the changes. When support has been needed, the representatives are extremely helpful, approachable and responsive. WIthin the reporting feature, it would be more convenient and benefical to be able to drill down for additional information within the charts and graphs for one click access to information.

Absolutely awful

1

By Rachael, 14 day(s) ago, on TrustPilot

Absolutely awful. Bad platform, overpriced and can't get a refund. We paid the annual fee, only to find that the platform never works. When we raised a complaint and requested that the remaining months are refunded they told us that this is not possible. So essentially we are paying thousands for a platform that we have only used a few times over a period of a couple of months and we're paying for it for the whole year.

This company scammed me

1

By Paul, 1 month(s) ago, on TrustPilot

This company scammed me. My subscription should have been canceled after the trial but I was still charged through Paypal for $399 and never refunded me. They didn't help even if its obvious that I never used the service.

Nightmare company

1

By Justin MacFayden, 17 day(s) ago, on TrustPilot

Nightmare company. They cost thousands more than any other competitor, and offer nothing for the price. They lie, have almost no support for the thousands you pay. You can get a better product literally for free - for example from buffer. Want to cancel because they're so terrible? You can't. They're happy to take tons of money from people desperate to not be their customer.

Outdated with cut back support staff…

1

By Karen J, 1 month(s) ago, on TrustPilot

Outdated with cut back support staff yet charging more. They are no longer leaders in the space, look at the newer options - they offer better features and value for dollars. Sprout got rid of our account manager and AU support teams, without telling us - we've been ghosted since before our contract was due to auto renew. So any questions around whether our plan was still the right level, if we needed the extras we were upsold, went unanswered. Despite breaching contract and taking away the local rep (which was the selling point) - they're refusing to terminate the contract until rollover time again. So obtuse, despite years of taking our money, so now lawyers are getting called in.

POOR SERVICE & HIGH PRICE. SCAM!!

2

By Pedro Oliveira, 8 month(s) ago, on TrustPilot

We have been using Sprout Social for 3 years, but recently we have noticed two undesirable behaviours. The cost of the service is going up and the quality is going down. At the moment we are struggling to post meta on almost 90% of our scheduled posts. You can get a better service for a fraction of the cost

My recent experience with Loomly vs Sprout Social

With Google traffic being fairly unreliable of late, I've been diving back into the social media game with many of my brands (ecom and content). It's been a bit since I evaluated the social media automation market, so I've started (slowly) working my way through a variety of platform comparisons - s
